Amazing! Love it!

We tried using it for bocce. It requires a lot of manual assistance and will make the required measurements but it is time consuming. In our case, a manual comparative measurement using a string is faster!

I initially posted a negative review because I thought the app did not work. Thankfully the app owners got in touch to let me know I needed to authorize my iPhone camera to allow the app to use it. It does work and it’s terrific. I play bocce 4 times a week and this tool will be invaluable. I highly recommend the app!!!

This app/tool is very fast and easy to use. It is MORE accurate than measuring directly with a tape. The reason it is more accurate is because: 1) There is no need to touch the ball and accidentally move it, 2) The automatic magnification of the closest edges of the jack and the ball being measured makes for perfect adjustment of the measuring arrow, 2) There is no distortion of the ball images due the photo image not being level, because the photo will only be automatically shot when the camera is perfectly parallel to the ground. I tried free version first and it worked very well, but there were way too many ads. So I bought the ads-free version. It also works very well and the are NO ADS😊👌

Booble Premium has proven to be an invaluable tool for measuring during any bocce (or petanque) match. It is easy to use and more accurate than manual rulers, especially where a tool cannot fit in the spaces between the balls. It is not dependent on a steady hand and does not require anyone to kneel down, thereby eliminating the risk of accidentally moving balls. It’s bubble level feature does not allow the picure to be taken unless the phone is level - which was a flaw in other measuring apps. Lastly, I compliment the developer for excellent customer service. It's never been wrong!

I like the precision, but the field of view from the camera can't capture a large enough area. Not the app's fault, but you might be able to work around it. Allow for a front facing camera shot, so I can take pictures by holding the camera overhead.
